So many WiPs, so little… inspiration?

Honestly, I don’t know why I start new things at least three times a week, lately. Anyways, here’s what’s on the go:
NOVELLA/NOVEL
Were I to See - A novella about Fyrbren, a blind man in a culture that thinks of eyes the way we think of hearts; and Illian, the young, impulsive ‘Teller’ and warrior who falls in love with him. It’s got repressed feelings, May/December, and warriors falling in love without ever actually saying it. First draft is all done, first edits in progress.
The ‘lol steampunk’ story – 1920′s steampunk with airships, perpetual motion machines and crazy, crazy gay men. Haven’t been working on it lately.
Pangaea – The young, beautiful shaman of the prehistoric wolf clan is courted by one of the river clan’s strongest warriors. It’s got a wolf sidekick and the stone age version of an ‘aloof, unavailable princess’… I’m not happy with it right now so it’s being ignored.
Precious One – Prometharon, youngest prince of the Sangeros, is not a warrior like his two older brothers. His talent lies in playing silly and pretty so other men will look after him – hence, his nickname: Precious. The Sangeros are on the brink of war with the Duende, so Precious’ brothers send him to the human continent to find a consort that he can claim to feed him and protect him. Meanwhile, Crown Prince Azazel is locked in a quickly heating rivalry with their father, the king. It’s got claiming, hissing, a genius pretending to be an airhead, forbidden love and brotherly affection. I’m working on this, but it’s definetely nowhere near done. I’m hardly out of the introductions yet. It might actually turn out novel length at this rate.
Abnormality – Das and Julius are best friends; but Julius is actually struggling to come out of the closet and Das is actually an elf – something not even his foster family knows. After a night of discovery, they decide they have to become runaways. It’s got angst, alluded awkward sexual encounters and a wiggly golden retriever named Summer. I’ve been working on this, but I skipped ahead and now can’t write the beginning. Greeeeat.
Ordinary Extraordinary – Daelete just watched his family die. He’s found half-dead stern Siale, an older elf filled with a deep sadness. Daelete’s always been ordinary, least loved of his brothers and sisters, but he seems to have a strange effect on Siale. Something bigger is happening – Siale is a long-standing member of an extremist rebel group planning to overthrow the corrupt king, and Daelete becomes more similar to Siale’s dead lover Morwen every day. It’s got hurt/comfort, May/December and good coming from bad. I’ve got most of the beginning written on this, and I’m actively working on it.
Out of the Woods – My generational fantasy epic that I started, oh god, eight years ago. It’s got lots of things like soulmates, big wars, cultural differences, coming of age, and much more. Seems to be on hold, I haven’t worked on it for a while.
SHORTS
Spectres – Short story, currently finished, awaiting first edits. About two men who hunt and exile ghosts renewing their five-year relationship. Written for Torquere anthology ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’.
Spell on You – A short story about a young mage and his teacher, will be M/M/M. Not much done on it yet.
It’s a Fixation - Short story about a vampire and his ditzy nymph boyfriend. Not much done on this either.
Death in the Hood – Short story written for the Torquere anthology ‘Mine’. It’s about a crazy little werewolf assassin that goes by the codename ‘Little Red’.
Kiss of the Blade – A short story about Evan, a soldier in the King’s Army, realizing his feelings for Cenare, the only elf in their troop. Started but not worked on much.
COLLABS
Perfect Fit – Lawl, longest running collab ever. I’ve been writing this with RebelStarKitten (who lives on the exact other side of the world in NZ) for FIVE YEARS. No doubt some snippets from this will turn up here.
Olivier’s Violin – A man can speak with the dead when he plays the violin. A collab with my good friend and roomate Jess.
The lol vikings story – An as of yet unnamed collab with du-hast, about a weredeer and some vikings. Yesss.
